Parliament session opens, hails robust economic growth
The National Assembly (NA)’s fifth ordinary session kicked off yesterday, welcoming robust economic growth and highlighting the need to overcome challenges. Delivering the government’s report, Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith told the biannual session of the NA’s 8th Legislature that it was estimated economic growth in the first six months of the year would reach 6.7 percent.
